Pop-Up Associate
Part-time (Hourly) | $20/hour + Commission
Location: Columbia Heights, Washington, DC (boutique fitness studio)
Earth-Worker is hiring a student or recent graduate to support pop-ups at a premium indoor cycling/fitness studio in Columbia Heights. This is a hands-on, fitness-adjacent role where you’ll offer samples, sell wellness shots/juices, and help customers discover Earth-Worker’s whole-food vitamin blends. All body types are welcome.
Key Responsibilities
- Set up and break down a pop-up table display; transport supplies to/from site
- Offer juice samples and sell wellness shots/juices
- Educate customers and upsell Earth-Worker vitamins with care and confidence
- Represent Earth-Worker in a fitness-focused environment with professionalism and warmth
Qualifications
- Studying or seriously interested in nutrition, dietetics, public health, holistic health, food systems, or food-as-medicine
- Willing to wear fitness-appropriate clothing (all sizes welcome—this role is about interest and professionalism, not body type)
- Comfortable speaking with customers and answering basic wellness/nutrition questions (training provided)
- Reliable transportation to pick up product and transport a folding table/supplies
- Comfortable working in a bring-your-own-device (BYOD) environment; must have a personal Android or Apple smartphone with reliable 4G/5G service
- Able to lift/carry 50 lbs and support setup/breakdown (standing, bending, carrying supplies)
Schedule
- 1–2 weekday shifts per week (with potential for additional shifts as available)
- Schedule (TBD) will be communicated in advance and coordinated with student availability
Pay
- $20/hour
- Commission on all vitamin sales
